The fifth Moutai Golf Tournament was successfully held on Saturday at the Kytäjä Golf course (South East and North West) in Hyvinkää.
About 100 players from China and Finland participated in the tournament this year jointly hosted by Kweichow Moutai’s Finnish Distributor -China Spirit Oy and Kytäjä Golf for the second year with the support from Moutai’s headquarter and Moutai Import /Export Co,Ltd.
The golfers arrived at the club house in the morning on the tournament´s day and enjoyed the breakfast followed by a short briefing on the rules of the two men scramble match with 2 pairs in each team and China Spirit Oy by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kytäjä Golf, Jukka Koivu. Koivu also prepared golf balls and caps with Moutai and Kytäjä Logo.
The game took whole day at the golf course where the guests also enjoyed a lunch at the club and Moutai tasting on the 10th tee.
At the end of the match an award giving ceremony and Gala dinner was held at the Moutai’s local theme restaurant and bar -Zhèn Restaurant & Bar where all the competitors and guests took part.
Moutai’s other distributors Li Bishan from Vietnam and XiaoQian Liu from Beligum’s Aporol Trading also joined the Gala Dinner.
The secretary of CEA (Chinese Enterprise Association in Finland) Liang Yi also delivered a speech and congratulated the organizers for hosting the successful event.
China Spririt Oy, also a key member of Chinese Enterprises Association in Finland organized many events to bridge Chinese companies with Finnish companies, for example Slush Moutai Taste Evenings, CEA PikkuJoulu Party and other Sino-Finland Business Exchange activities.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of China Spirit Oy Tang Chao also introduced Moutai products and culture as well as the products are distributed through the sales network of ALKO and other online and offline wholesale channels.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of SOK (S-Group) Hannu Krook was present as one of the special guests on the occasion. In 2023, the value of grocery retail sales in Finland was 22.9 billion euros and S-Grou’s market share was 48,3%.
He praised the great organization of this event and tasted Moutai during the match while Moutai distributors also presented a special Moutai gift to him.
S-group also owns Sokos Hotels is a Finnish hotel chain consisting of 47 hotels as well as Raddison Blue and Raddsion Red’s hotel operations in Finland.
Therefore, there is a big opportunity of Moutai to cooperate with these international brands to fully exploit Finnish market.
During the Gala dinner, Koivu and Chao announced the winners of the competition and welcomed the guests from Moutai family.
Authentic Chinese food with a zip of Moutai entertained the guests with a memorable experience.
China Spirit Oy is aiming at organizing this kind of cultural and sport events with other golf courses in Nordic countries and rest of the Europe.
