At least five people sustained bullet wounds in a gun battle between two groups at a bar in Seinäjoki, a municipality under South Ostrobothnia region late Saturday night, police said on Sunday.
The incident took place at about 10:00 p.m. at the Härmän Häjy bar as a sequel to argument between two people.
Several people numbering seven to eight divided in two groups and joined the quarrel and at certain stage they fired gunshots to each other.
Police said that several rounds of gunshots were fired during the clash and at least five people including some bystanders sustained bullet wounds.
The injured were taken to hospital and three of them were in critical condition, said police, adding that all of the injured were men.
Police arrested several people in connection with the incident.
At the initial stage police are investigating into the case as attempted murder and firearms offence.
